FAQs

  • Usually, as soon as possible! If you are starting to experience any aches and pains in pregnancy, let’s do an evaluation and see what your body needs. Typically if we can address complaints sooner than later, we need fewer treatments to relieve symptoms and can start implementing some preventative movements to keep you feeling great through pregnancy and/or prepare your body for postpartum.

If you are in early postpartum, how soon to schedule after birth depends on a lot of things! How did you feel in pregnancy and how are you feeling now? How fast or how long was your birth? Typically if you are on either end of that spectrum, your body (and you baby’s) had to go through a lot!

That said, it is very important to weigh the needs of your physical body and the needs of your mental and emotional health. They both are important! If you want to talk through it, schedule a phone consultation for a time that works well for you.

If this is in regards to an infant, the earlier we can address any concerns the better as these early days/weeks are vital for connection, feeding, and bonding.

  • I do not do any routine x-rays on any patients but will refer out for imaging if clinically necessary. I may refer you back to your primary care physician for any additional diagnostic tests.

  • Yes! We are IN-NETWORK with Regence, Providence, PacificSource Commercial and PacificSource CommunitySolutions (Medicaid/OHP) plans. Unfortunately, however, our OHP panel is full at this time.

While we do not do out-of-network billing for UMR or Aetna, we can provide a receipt for you to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.

  • Yes! We strongly believe that everyone deserves access to care and are in-network with PacificSource CommunitySolutions. If you have coverage through OHP, your insurance requires a physician referral for treatment of a spinal complaint. Unfortunately, however, our OHP panel is full at this time. We are not in-network with Trillium.

  • Please contact your insurance company’s ‘member benefits’ line listed on the back of your insurance card. Because we value a comprehensive approach to musculoskeletal care, some of our treatments may fall under your physical therapy, massage benefits, and/or bundled under ‘alternative care’. Please be aware of and provide any information regarding prior authorizations needed in advance of your appointment. Please use the document (under insurance) to help facilitate the conversation between you and your insurance company to best understand your coverage and/or limits. If you would like help navigating the conversation, please utilize our insurance questionnaire to help guide your questions. If you use this, please bring it to your first visit!

  • Please let us know! Unfortunately it can happen, but starting care as soon as possible can help speed up recovery. In Oregon, all motorists are required to have Personal Injury Protection insurance in the event that you are injured in an MVC. We ARE able to see you for this care (if it is NOT work-related), but it does require additional paperwork. Please schedule a New Patient MVC examination type appointment if this pertains to you so that we can have adequate time to review and examine new and/or exacerbated complaints.

  • Unfortunately, we do not treat work-related injuries. We highly recommend that you are seen by your primary care physician and/or contact your employer’s Human Resources Department to avoid any unexpected fees while getting the care you need. Once a claim is closed, you are welcome to return to us for your care.
